Security is important, please read these guidelines.

SECURITY

1.

Passwords

It is important that you keep your password secret and not share it with others. Make the password difficult to guess by using more than 6 characters to ensure the security of your account.

Passwords are best made by combining words and numbers eg. "zo27what4"

We use 128 bit SSL encryption for the log-in process and we encrypt all passwords in our database for your protection. This however does mean that even our staff can not get your password.

If you have forgotten your password, use the function available on the homepage next to the sign-in. This process sends a special e-mail to your e-mail account. Follow the instructions to reset your password.

CYNF Staff will never ask you for your password, either on e-mails or over the telephone.

2.

Use of Public or Shared Computers

Whilst CYNF does not use cookies stored on the computer you are using to track log-ins we still use session variables and other information to keep track of your log-in status continuously during your access of our site. If there has been no activity for a number of minutes we will log you out.

That said, it is still highly recommended that you sign-out of all shared or public PCs.

3.
