What will CYNF do if an organisation uses our technology without first obtaining a license?

CYNF is a technology innovator with a significant resources invested in creating this technology.

Our success depends importantly on the strength of and return from our intellectual property portfolio. CYNF will vigorously enforce and assert its patent portfolio against all infringers as necessary to protect the value of its intellectual property for its shareholders. When and what actions CYNF will take will be decided on a case-by-case basis depending upon the factual circumstances at the time.

What types of licenses are available?

Licenses are offered based upon an appropriate needs analysis and are designed to give the user the best cost effective outcome.

Typically licenses will be granted for a particular use, for example XYZ's social networking site for photo sharing. Broader licenses can be made available upon request but will be more expensive.

At this stage it is our preference not to issue exclusive licenses.

Are there any areas of business that you will not issue licenses for?

Our licenses for the CYNF Privacy Toolkit are available for all areas of business with the exception of physical lending businesses which compete directly with CYNF.com's physical sharing application.
